Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Horace Parlan “Us Three” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4037.   Other than an inaudible scuff on Side 2, the playing surface appears to be in near-new condition, with a high luster; however, there are a few tics at the opening of Side 2 and very faint surface noise at the beginning of Side 1.  The laminated New York 23 cover (with serif font) is in excellent condition; 1 ¼” superficial wear on the top seam, at the opening; 1” superficial wear on the bottom seam, near the spine; 1/8” wear at the opening corners; the back slick has a light discoloration at the top left corner and along the right edge.  Personnel include George Tucker and Al Harewood.  $1000.00.
