Description

Up for sale is my copy of Horace Silver's  Doin' the Thing at the Village Gate. This is a mono first pressing of the album on Blue Note Records from 1961. The "P" or ear is visible in the dead wax along with "RVG" (see last photo). The label has the NY address. The vinyl on this one looks really great; I had to look very closely under a bright light to see the few, very superficial marks. There are no major scratches. 
The sleeve is also in wonderful shape, very sturdy cardboard with no splitting, ring wear, or writing. The only noteworthy thing is an old price sticker on the back (see photos). This one even comes with the original Blue Note inner sleeve (see second to last photo)!
I will ship the item wrapped in bubble wrap in a cardboard LP mailer. I do not currently have access to a turntable, so I must visually grade my records.
