Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4042, Horace Silver Horace-Scope, a blue and white, 47 West 63rd, deep groove, microgroove label, original mono issue of this classic record with RVG and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly. The laminated cover, with it's 43 West 61rd St. New York 23 address, has two splits on the top seam (see photo4) and light bumps on the corners but is otherwise unblemished and intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful original Blue Note mono recording with all the proper markings evident.
