Description

Horace Silver Quintet - Blowin' the Blues Away  Blue Note 4017 with DEEP GROOVE Labels Blue and white labels with "Blue Note Records Inc • 47 West 63rd • NYC" address, both sides. Engineered in 1959 by RUDY VAN GELDER - RVG stamped. GREAT SOUND GREAT MUSIC BLUE MITCHELL ON TRUMPET and JUNIOR COOK on sax. Record is visually graded as VG+ with some light marks and hairlines - PLAY GRADES VG only due to 2 very brief skips on the 1st track of side 2, otherwise plays overall better than VG+. The RVG sound recording is incredible. VPI cleaned with an anti-static inner sleeve. The G+ cover was "protected" by a previous owner that used black electrical tape to cover the edges, seen from the back the cover bottom is discolored due to a past water exposure. Knowing all this, you will not be disappointed but SOLD AS IS - SOLD AS IS - SOLD AS IS
