Horace Silver Quintet SONG FOR MY FATHER Mono Blue Note BLP 4185. Original issue album with Van Gelder stamp in the dead wax. This is the most desirable version of this classic album... unfortunately it has a number of scuff and shallow scratches. I have listened to the album straight through on both sides and have made the following observations: “Last 20 or so seconds of side one is the most noticeable tik and pop sounds. Most of side one is pretty quiet with nothing that made my turntable skip. Side two has generally less overall wear and is quieter.

Selling as-is at a big reduction in price compared to better copies. It’s still not a bad copy... just not super collector condition. More of an everyday driver.
