767 Lexington label - deep groove, NO 'R', flat edge, hand etched RVG and 'ear' engravings both sides

Despite wear noticeable surface marks the true Lexington pressing will not disappoint! Playgraded on vintage Thorens TT with Gardo mono cart - which picks up everything..

My Listening Notes: Yes...., some pops, tics upon tracking to first tracks and during quieter passages of tracks but this jazz session is not quiet!!!! Hardbop... power punch instrumentals throughout and nothing that betrays or subverts an enjoyable hard swinging iconic jazz session despite noted surface noise on quieter transitions with Mobley, Watkins, Dorham and power man Blakey; NO skipping (either A or B side); No gouges, NO Giant 'pops' from scratches- --not for the audiophile who seeks near mint, but a reasonable priced true LEX, FLAT EDGE original pressing;  If this is your first Lexington pressing, compare your other BN pressings with a LEX pressing if this is your first time.. truly remarkable sound...

Plays at full volume with no distortion literally fills my entire home with the 'Blue Note sound' ..

Visual Vinyl Grade: VG some might argue VG-

Playgrade VG+ to VG++ on some tracks -full volume fills the house; little distortion- amazing LEX pressing sound despite surface marks;

plays with mentioned tics, some pops..quieter passages and track transitions; hardbop instrumental overpowers it though; 

**Noted track "Doodlin" Side 2 has a quick-jump-skip perhaps one track line - very quick and not terribly noticable- In fact, I had to play it twice to make sure I heard it...

Cover; Good  OK, not the best especially on reverse bottom; however, front cover iconic and completely presentable-
