Description
Autographed in dark ink by Vladimir Horowitz in Nov. 1941, a copy of Victor set DM 117, five twelve inch 78 rpm shellac discs, the concerto on nine sides, with side ten containing the now-notoriousr ecording of Horowitz playing Rachmaninoff’s G minor Prelude (notorious because it was issued despite many wrong notes, which were “repaired” in subsequent CD reissues. Here we can hear how he actually played it, warts and all.) With the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Albert Coates. Quiet pressings.. The records appear to be mint and unplayed, the album and sleeves in near-mint condition. I will sell to buyers outside the United States but will have to quote postage costs for your country
