Description
This is an original 1957 Liberty Soundtrack Cat # LRP 3048 from the movie HOT ROD RUMBLE . It is a MONO LP. It's a good jazz soundtrack with some talented musicians including: Bud Shank, Dave Pell and Georgie Auld on saxaphone; Pete Candoli and Maynard Ferguson on trumpets; Frank Rosolino and Tommy Pederson on trumpet; Barney Kessel on guitar; Walter "Buddy" Clark on bass and Claude Williamson on piano. Tracks include: Main Title, Rockin' With Arny, Shack Hop, Arny's Blues, Dented Fender, Chicken Race, Big Arny, Racy Drag, Hot Rod Rock, Jazz Dirge, Night Chase, The Race, Mountain Rank and End Title. The Jacket is very nice and still in the shrink wrap. Shrink is good and tight. Jacket is not a cut out. Has the original $3.98 price tag on it. There is a little dusty build up under the shrink that can be wiped clean if your very carefull. The vinyl has quite a bit of gloss and shows only a few marks or light scratchs. There are a bunch of what looks like some sort of spot stains on both sides. Water marks maybe, I have only seen this a few times and still dont know what it is called. Record plays with consistant back ground noise, but the music is loud and it didnt bother me while playing it. But if you want silence this isnt for you. Record also hasnt been cleaned. If you have a Mint vinyl this would be a great jacket upgrade.
