Description
This is the super-rare original British issue of Howard Riley “Discussions” on Opportunity CP.2499. The playing surface is nearly immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The thin matte cover is amazingly clean throughout; there is a small price sticker in the upper right corner of the front and a ¼” discoloration in the lower left corner. Pressed in a limited edition of 99 copies, this December 1967 trio session includes standards (“Sweet and Lovely”, “Nardis”, “Spring Is Here”, “What’s New”) as well as three Riley compositions. Release sheet with biographical notes is included.
