Description
Up for auction is an amazing blues rarity; a PROMO ACETATE PRESSING of Willie Williams All Stars; really members of the Howlin' Wolf Band, including Hubert Sumlin, Sunnyland Slim, LV Johnson, and Williams on drums. Deep Shuffle was issued on a Japanese P-Vine LP in the 70's, and is available on YouTube as part of that album. South Park Shuffle was unissued until the recent ACE CD, Richard Stamz' Chicago Blues, produced by Richard Sherman. Stamz' name is stamped on the label of this 7". It is a two-sided acetate, with type-written notes on both sides of the generic MBS Recording Studio label. Sumlin kills on these sides!!

It will probably clean up better than it sounds here, but we were afraid to mess with such a rarity, without knowing how the new owner would want it handled. Have a gander at our other acetates and test pressings from the private collection of Chicago DJ Richard Stamz.
