Howlin Wolf Rocking Chair Album Black Chess Labels 1469 1st Issue Great Copy of a classic and rare blues album.


This is the first issue on the black chess labels with deep groove.


The sleeve is VG+ with only light wear. The usual edge wear and corner bumps and a little shelf wear - it's in remarkable condition for its almost 70 years of age.


The record has also been well cared for and plays very well. Only light surface noise in quieter moments and between tracks. There is very little else to mention apart from the odd light click here and there. There is nothing that over powers the music and it still has gloss as seen in the pictures.


It's an amazing album and in superb condition for its age. I should imagine these are almost impossible to find in better condition.
