Description

You're bidding on a brand-new, never-played copy of the ultra-rare "Skittles" version of Hüsker Dü's Savage Young Dü, a four-LP vinyl box set issued by Chicago's Numero Group label and released in conjunction with Record Store Day 2018. This variant set, containing one white LP, one purple LP, one blue LP and one orange LP, was pressed in an edition of 100, and never sealed (see Discogs entry for more information); I purchased this copy directly from Numero Group's 2018 RSD pop-up at Logan Square's Comfort Station, but never played it.

Per Numero Group: "Experience the punishing sonic origins of a punk icon. Collected here for the first time, and skillfully remastered from original board tapes, demos, and session masters, this collection is an authoritative chronicling of the wellspring and maturation of Grant Hart, Greg Norton and Bob Mould — three St. Paul teenagers who’d go on to become the most heralded trio of the American punk underground. Follow the Hüskers to their earliest gigs in 1979, through extensive road dog touring, and to the start of their partnership with West Coast tastemaker SST in 1983 via a 108-page hardbound book crammed full of photos, flyers, and a sprawling essay with participation from the band. Spread across four LPs, 47 of the 69 songs compiled here are previously unissued, and includes In a Free Land, Everything Falls Apart, and an alternate Land Speed Record."
This box set has been carefully stored in a smoke-free, pet environment. It will ship via USPS Media Mail, insured for the full purchase amount. Check my 100 percent positive eBay feedback and bid with complete confidence. Thanks and good luck.
