Description
Back in the 1980's, there was a small company in New York City called Think Big! that made huge oversized replicas of common, every day items such as pencils, erasers, crayons, albums, paper clips, etc etc.
Among the more interesting items they made were several classic albums from 1960's and 1970's. Not the album cover/art work, but an replica LPs. Up for auction is one of their products, and one of the classic LP's of all time, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. This is a huge replica, identical to the original Capitol LP issued in the 1960's but measures an amazing 34 inches in diameter -- yes that's right -- the LP is almost 3 feet in diameter. (See one of the photo's with a real size compact disc in lower left corner.)
This rare replica would be perfect hanging in someone's rec room or music room, or even in a record or music store. These are very rare. There is a successor store called Great Big Stuff that operates at greatbigstuff.com, but I don't believe that they are making these album replica's anymore.
Starting bid of $129.00 shipping included. Reputable and long time ebay seller. I ship same or next day payment is received.
