Description

Hugh A. MacDonald Celtic 004 Nova Scotia Cape Breton Fiddle 78 RPM. Rare Canadian East Coast fiddle record with piano and violin. Songs include: Miss Hutton / Miss E. Elder / Clear The Track! / Napoleon . Antigonish Nova Scotia on the Black and Gold label and both labels are very good with visible wear. The surface is as described below from VJM grading system. It is a strong V and close to V+. Both sides play through with no skips and light moderate surface noise. It sounded very good on my player with a few low ticks on each side. A good cleaning of the grooves with the proper equipment should enhance the sound quality. I have only found a handful of these rare 78's in over 35 years of accumulating my collection and playing records. I am listing a few more Celtic labels and would gladly combine on any multiple wins. Any questions will be answered as quickly as possible.

* V+. An average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced
    * V. Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
