Description
Actor, composer, songwriter, pianist and singer Jacques Foti was educated at the Commercial Academy in Budapest. During World War II, he worked with the Hungarian underground, and escaped to the United States in 1947, where he became a singer in night clubs and hotels, eventually starring on his own television show.
This is the 1965 album I Wish You Love by Jacques Foti With The Joe Leahy Orchestra in its vinyl LP release in the US on Vee Jay Records (VJLP 1134). The rear jacket bears an inscription from the artist "to Colleen."
The vinyl, the printed Vee Jay Records inner sleeve, and the outer jacket are in Very Good Plus condition; the vinyl with light surface marks that do not affect play, it tracks through and plays fine; the printed Vee Jay Records inner sleeve with a 2" split in the bottom edge, and with glue discoloration; the outer sleeve with minimal edge wear and staining.
Sorry, but the printed Vee Jay Records inner sleeve is not for sale separately.
Full disclosure: Although I am currently behaving like one, I am not a record store. Professional record grading skills are not on offer here. Please look closely at the images which are always taken of the actual items and feel free to ask any questions.
