Description
IAN CARR WITH NUCLEUS PLUS Labyrinth. Rare 7-track vinyl LP with Vertigo 'swirl' labels, housed in a near matt gatefold sleeve (6360 091 DELUXE VERTIGO UK).
The sleeve does display some minor flaws; largely superficial storage wear, minor corner and edge scuffing. A large percentage of what looks like edge scuffing is in fact splitting of the black ink printed surface which happened when the card was folded during the manufacturing process. There is some scuffing at the back of the sleeve, together with some impression of the record at the back due to the quite heavy vinyl in the compartively thin gatefold sleeve. The opening edges are clean and sharp, indicating that the vinyl has rarely seen the light of day. The spine is in solid condition, but there are a few superficial stress lines afflicting the black ink, and a tiny amount of white where black has flaked away. All text is readable. This is still an EXCELLENT+ example gatefold sleeve with a plain white slightly age toned inner.
The black and white labels are in pristine condition.
The vinyl is in near mint condition with just a couple of extremely small sleeve removal hairlines, very superficial, and two minor signs of handling preventing a mint grading, nothing to affect the audio. Play-graded Mint minus on a high quality system. Apart from the occasional speck of static here and there, there was no deterioration in sound quality, definitely no background crackle whatsoever or loud clicks.
The vinyl lies totally flat. All photographs are of the actual items.
