Description
FIRST PRESSING OF 1972 ORIGINAL UK CLASSIC JAZZ ROCK LP ON VERTIGO SWIRL - BOTH RECORD AND GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN STUNNING CONDITION!
Artist - Ian Carr (This LP went out in the leader's name but the band is effectively Nucleus)

Number - 6360 076 (cover includes the words 6360 076 VO PRICE CODE )
Matrix number - Side A 1 V1; Side B 2 V 1
Condition/Grading - LP - EXCELLENT Barely played, I would say. No hairlines, no scratches, no marks, no blemishes of any kind. Very black, beautiful, sleek heavy vinyl. I popped it on the Linn Sondek LP 12 and the sound quality is excellent - clear as a bell. Any background noise is only audible in some, not all, the quietest musical areas. This is often the case with even brand new vinyl. The record is as flat as a pancake! Overall it is in just wonderful condition - probably better than EXCELLENT.
Condition/Grading - record label - EXCELLENT. 2 or 3 minor spindle marks on very close examination. This suggests too that it has only been played on very few occasions.
Condition/Grading - Gatefold Cover - EXCELLENT. The whole sleeve/cover is very strong and firm. There is no wear on any of the edges!! - rare indeed and an indication of how well this record has been looked after. The two spine corners show tiny wear but no corners are bumped! There are three very short (half an inch) minor creases next to the spine, but as Vertigo produced unlaminated sleeves, you have to really look for these to see them - not visible at all without close inspection. In the bottom right hand corner of the back cover the price has been written (25/-), but again this part of the cover is so dark that I did not notice it at all for some time. The inside of the sleeve looks and feels like it just came out of the factory, although there are two tiny age spots. Overall this is a very confident EXCELLENT grading.
