 This is an ORIGINAL South Africa 1st Press release of  IAN CARR's NUCLEUS's  rare and classic third 12" LP called ' SOLAR PLEXUS ' - this released originally as here in 1971 on the original LARGE SWIRL VERTIGO RECORDS label.

Only sold in very small quantities when first released way back in 1971 and as a result these ORIGINAL LARGE SWIRL pressings are very hard to find these days.

Visually graded under a 100W  light source the vinyl retains EXCELLENT MINUS glossy sheen - with actually very few visible marks and what there are are only fine hairlines which do not overall affect the sound quality etc - other than on Track 1 on the B side where are a few audible quiet clicks.

Other than that there is very little surface noise audible even during the quieter parts.

Both sides have been PLAY GRADED. 

Side 1 is graded - EXCELLENT 

Side 2 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS


The LARGE SPIRAL VERTIGO record labels are graded EXCELLENT  - with little visible spindle wear. 

The thin card GATEFOLD PICTURE sleeve is graded EXCELLENT MINUS  - with some edgewear and rubs and minor ringwear front and back but no splits and spine 100% legible etc.

A VERY rare VERTIGO large SPIRAL 1st PRESS  NUCLEUS Lp - and here in EXCELLENT MINUS condition.

All records are shipped in new custom made strong CARDBOARD MAILERS ( not card envelopes ) with stiffeners as required.
