ORIGINAL UK PRESSING ON POLYDOR RECORDS FROM 1972. CAT NO: 2383-108
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition and the record is in excellent to near mint condition.

Aggressive - hard - intricate, feat. complex percussion rhythms, a nice brass section, no electronic devices, no over-dubbing, just straight ahead. John Cartwright's bass is producing a range veering from an almost accoustic string bass sound to the deep present day electronic sound.
Iguana were a British five-piece band that issued just the one album on Polydor and do not confuse them with a US band of the same name. A wonderfully unique one-off album that failed to sell and the record and band almost disappeared without trace and this remains one of Polydor’s most obscure and lost titles. A somewhat mysterious band, formed in Southampton in the early 70s, they played a progressive form of jazz-rock. Although they use complex sound structures the music is fairly easy on the ear but clearly either lack of publicity or promtion they failed to breakthrough and folded. A very obscure issue that even ‘The Tapestry of Delights’ failed to catch until recently updated, this really is a hard one to find.

This Lp is now very in demand as DJs are wanting it. It is a funk / Prog rock classic.
