Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare first German pressing of Ike and Tina Turner – The Hunter on the Harvest label with cat. no. 1C 062-91260.
The record is in Near to Mint condition, there are only one or two very faint, non-sounding hairlines. The vinyl still has its bright black sheen and it looks like it came from the shop only a couple days ago! The labels are in EX++ condition, only a few spindle marks on both sides.
The cover is in EX+ condition, there is only very slight wear in the bottom right hand corner, but further there is nothing wrong with it. No writing, no rips or tears, or other unwanted damage.
This is an extremely rare German 1st (and probably only) pressing of Ike and Tina Turner’s The Hunter album on Harvest. Sales of this album back in 1970 were very poor and sold almost nothing. This is a very sought after record on the Harevst label, certainly in this condition. It looks like the record was only bought last week! This is a real must have for all Tina Turner and / or Harvest record collection! Happy Bidding!
