Description
Artist: Ike Quebec Listen here player, if you don't have this album, you need it and I'm here to tell you why. This is one of the most under appreciated albums in the Blue Note catalog. It's some of the sexiest sounds ever "laid" on wax. Ike's smooth style on the sax is like a fine wine and a perfect compliment is Milt Hinton on bass. Their duet entitled "Nature Boy" is just gorgeous, nearly every song on this album is a masterpiece. A good friend once described "Just one more chance" as "duck fat to my ears", like foie gras. If I did not have another copy, you would have a better chance prying a rifle from Charlton Heston's hands that this album from mine and I give you my word on that. Good luck and I tip my hat to the lucky bloke who wins this one.
