NEW RULES:
We've had an outbreak of flaky bidders. These dubious folks run bids up high and then fade out on us, leaving us in a state of confusion and turmoil. Thus, we must post some guidelines for the less enabled amongst us:

YOUR WINNING BID IS AN AGREEMENT THAT YOU WILL PAY FOR ANY ITEM(s) YOU HAVE WON!

It's that simple. We expect you to honor your bid(s) with us. If you anticipate any problems in payment, you must contact us and set up some terms of payment. Anyone who welshes on a bid will be reported to eBay as a non-paying bidder.

The majority of our eBay customers are great people--stand-up folks who make honest bids and expect the best in return. This message does not go out to you... it's a precaution against those who bid for thrills, but never intend to pay. To those unfortunates, we suggest this: please seek counseling--you may have a gambling addiction.

And now, onto our auction:

IKE & TINA TURNER
DYNAMITE!
SUE MONO LP LP 2004

Red-hot R&B and soul from this combative, catalytic couple! Typically “enjoyed” copy of this original Sue LP plays surprisingly well. Lotsa great life left in its groovin’ grooves!

CONDITION:

JACKET: Front cover has light-to-medium ringwear. $1.00 written to upper left corner. Image is well-centered (rare for Sue LPs) and all text is clean and intact. Spine is smooth and intact; all text legible. Both seams have a 4” split from lip inward.
Back panel has expected discoloration from aging, but is clean, with all text and images intact and legible. A touch of ringwear, altho’ it’s much lighter than on the front.

Sleeve gets a highly decent VG rating. Were those seams intact, it’d rate even higher.

DISC: Obviously played, many times, but its grooves still surrender a crisp, pleasing sound, and its wear is not offensive. Hear sound samples of Side 2’s “Sleepless,” followed by the Side 1 opener, “You Shoulda Treated Me Right,” above, for audio confirmation. Despite its many dings and pings, the sound still rings!

Labels are intact, with all images and text legible, despite some rubwear and spindle scuddering.

Disc is a downright decent VG/almost VG+. We’re very conservative graders here, so hear the above samples and decide for yourself. Much nicer than it has any right to be!

This is one of several POP, ROCK, R&B, SOUL and NORTHERN SOUL gems we're posting today! They're all from the legendary collection of DAVID A. YOUNG! Grab ‘em before they’re gone—you won’t see their likes again!
