Description

Iltar is a pretty unknown group.  They were from Pennsylvania and Acid Archives describes their sole release as “stoned progressive/jazz-rock aka "new fusion."  Fuzz [guitar], sitar, flute, sax [bass and percussion too].”  The music blog Mutant Sounds said “The LP is totally crazed out stoned psych/jazz, totally obscure and great!”  And that’s about the sum of what appears to have been written (online, at least) on this group.  The lengthy track “Parapalegiance” includes sitar and tamboura.  A basement style recording from a very tight sounding band; this is going to make someone very happy.  Released privately in the U.S. on TIWA in 1977.  The cover is in VG++ and the record is in Ex condition.  The reserve on this item is $99.99.
