Description
This auction is for a rare and hard to find copy of INCANTATION’s legendary “Entrantment of Evil” debut 7”, released by Relapse Records in 1991. If you’re reading this, you should know exactly how amazing this slab of vinyl is, and how hard copies are to come by these days… it’s been out of print for nearly 20 years and is more in demand than ever. This is one of the absolute classics of US death metal—hell, this is one of the best death metal EPs PERIOD, doom-laden metal of death in the ancient style. This features the very early line-up, with Will Rahmer of Mortician on vocals, John McEntee on guitar as always, Sal Seijo on 2nd guitar/bass, and Peter Barnevic on drums, performing the tracks “Entrantment of Evil”, “Eternal Torture”, “Devoured Death” and “Unholy Massacre.” The classic cover art was drawn by Chris “Thorncross” Moyen, in the same period he was producing iconic images for Beherit, Archgoat, Blasphemy and others. Amazing band, crucial record, killer cover art, this is a must-have for any lover of Satanic death metal!
The vinyl is in excellent shape. The cover is in very good shape; it’s a bit worn and shows minor ringwear, but nothing unusual for a two-decade-old record.
You don’t find copies of this very often in record stores or on private sale lists any more these days, so bid now or cry later.
