This the rare UK 1st Press of '5000 Spirits or The Layers Of The Onion' by The Incredible String Band. This 1st press is complete with the earliest matrix, the very first textured red/orange Elektra labels and earliest matt light sheen sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl on each side has a deep gloss, with just a few light marks on each side. The red textured Elektra labels are completely clean. The red is bold, and the black is sharp and there is light spindle wear. On playing the record sits completely flat on the turntable. There is some slight background noise, however there are certainly no pops or jumps at any point. The sound is still warm, rich and clear. The record is complete with the Elektra inner sleeve.
The sleeve is in Very Good condition. The white is bright and the colours are vivid. There is some edge and corner wear, but whole cover is still solid.
