INCREDIBLE STRING BAND
VERY RARE 1970 “U†DOUBLE LP
1st UK pressing with original insert in near mint condition.
This is an incredibly rare LP – perhaps the rarest of all ISB records. It is a 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the Red Elektra label. It comes with the original insert which only came with a few very early copies.
· UK Stereo 1st 1970 pressing Double LP – no MONO copies were made of this LP.
· 1st ‘Red’ Electra label - serial number 2665 001.
· Gatefold cover is excellent. No ringwear, no seam splits, no writings or doodles, some minimal wear along the edges and spine. The colours and photos remain bright and vibrant.
· Fold out insert is excellent with no creases or writings or doodles. It has the original LP serial number 2665 001 printed in the bottom left corner – only first issues have this.
· Labels are mint.
· Original white poly-lined inner sleeves in excellent condition with no seam splits.
· Vinyl is near mint – no hairlines, scratches. Played one or twice at the most. Both LPs retain their glossy ‘as new’ look.
· The whole package is absolutely stunning considering its now 36 years old.
