** RARE A1/B1 UK 1968 MONO VERY FIRST PRESSING ON ORIGINAL ORANGE LABEL **

** THIS IS THE "WEE TAM" SINGLE-LP VERSION (NO "BIG HUGE") **

A Very Good- condition disc. A lot of fine surface marks/hairline marks on both sides. Some scuffs/light scratches too (see photo). Some spindle marks. A name written on both labels. Original MONO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, sticking or warps. Fair-to-good sound quality generally, but with some clicks and pops. Some occasional surface noise can be heard too, as this is mainly a very quiet recording. Not too intrusive though, and this remains a very listenable record. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve is laminated on both sides, and in Very Good+ condition. Sleeve opening edge is on the left hand side, in common with all UK first pressings. Some general wear and mild creasing in places. Initials written inside the sleeve, which cannot be seen from the outside. No seam splits anywhere. Very little wear to spine, and all text still clearly legible.

Supplied in original white inner sleeve ,where the original owner added the name of the band, which is quite nicely done! I have included an additional new white inner sleeve too.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
