EXCEPTIONALLY RARE! ORIGINAL 1ST JAPANESE 45 rpm pressing, 1971, with picture sleeve! THE ROLLING STONES: "GIMME SHELTER"/"LOVE IN VAIN." Spectacular 1st edition Japanese 45 rpm stereo single on the very scarce yellow London Records label (TOP-1569).
Incredibly rare full-color fold-out picture sleeve including lyrics and grisly pictorial images of the Hell's Angels murder scene at the Rolling Stones concert at Altamont Speedway, California, 1969. The back of the sleeve features a London Records pictorial catalog.
The Vinyl is very clean. EXCELLENT!!! The picture sleeve and inner sleeve are also EXCELLENT! No tears, writing, or any other notable imperfections aside from the slight typical aging evidence for a vintage collectible such as this. As you can see from the photo scans, you will need to live another lifetime to find this historic Analog item in such tip-top condition!
