Gramophone Concert Record GC-8-12386/90

Artist: Professor Inayat Khan R. Pathan "The Modern Tansen"
Tracks: Surat Mullar / Pahari Jhinjhoti (H.H. the Nizam's Jubilee Song)

Very rare 1909 recordings from Calcutta featuring vocalist Pathan tearing it up, especially on the "Surat" side (which is in better condition and the more interesting side), with plenty of rhythmic, melismatic flourishes!

Also: one side has the old GramCo label, and one side has a Nipper label!
 
Condition: V++ / V (general wear and marks - "Surat" side has lighter play wear and sounds great - ""Pahari" has play wear but plays pretty well with a small needle)
