Absolutely BEAUTIFUL copy of this legendary turned-on sunshine harmony pop trio's first album, on Randy Wood's Ranwood label. Groovy as f*** breezy lounge pop sexy goodness from these two hotties staring each other down in semi-psychedelic stroboscope fury while some nebbish from Lawrence Welk's band tries valiantly to get them to notice him. They won't. Instead, they'll lay down a full album's worth of cotton candy goodness like the jaunty "Yesterday the Dog" and "Get Aboard A Dream," and when they sing about evil and dreadful things on their loungey pop theme "Inner Dialogue," you get the feeling these chicks might just be down for something a little more than meets the eye. They're squeaky clean and easy on the eye, Mother would approve of either one and Father would try to get them to stay over, but every so often they drop something downright spooky like the ethereal "Look At Me," which reminds me of that sad, sad Figure Eight song from Multiplication Rock. Maybe they need some cheering up. Dad's clearing out the guest bedroom now.
