Description
Original 1956 deep-groove *first press* of jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell's debut LP on Blue Note: INTRODUCING KENNY BURRELL: BN 1523. Original Blue Note Records (no 'Inc.' or 'R') address of 767 Lexington Avenue NYC address on labels, as well as engineer Rudy Van Gelder mastering initials of RVG with the "Ear" in the deadwax. Recorded (and pressed) in MONO by RVG at his first studio in his parents' house; Hackensack, NJ. Vinyl is thick and very heavy weight like all original Blue Note pressings.
Features TOMMY FLANAGAN (piano), PAUL CHAMBERS (bass), KENNY CLARKE (drums) and CANDIDO (conga drum).
