Description

CONDITION :
VG++  vinylFully play graded. Beautiful playback… Beautiful shine. Some faint pressing bubbles and a few light marks on side II but nothing reflects in playback. Great record overall - not to mention, its a true stereo copy! Nearly impossible to find. Record’s matrix is scrolled and stamped. Please see all my detailed pictures for more information….

Please see the images to the left for a better idea of the surface condition. The sound box below contains a file taken direct from the vinyl for sale here.

Direct from playback at 192kbs...

VG++ to NM-  Cover shows great. No splits. I didn’t pull the cover out of the original SEARS bag its been in since 1964. The top corner at the spine has a slight ding as shown but the spine and spine print look fantastic, a nearly top condition cover all around. Some light signs of handling as the bag has some small fraying in a couple locations but its quite nice in general.
Some extra details:- Please, Please Me - has the comma on the back cover…. This is the column cover, of course.-   nice smooth gradient on label-   Stereo centered on label-  Album title and band name are both above the spindle hole-   “Coffin-King” typo on label- nice high quality printing on the cover with smooth and deep color-   The spine has printing as shown

FULL PLAY GRADE!

This record will be cardboard padded on both sides then custom boxed. Every box is taped well and marked fragile, double taped at corners.

PAYMENT :
PayPal please, it is preferred. If you have another form of payment you’d like to use, please send a message and I’ll see if I can accomodate your request.

GRADING:
I use Goldmine’s grading system and am quite conservative when assessing condition.
    SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description

   NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of perfect - acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent

   VG++ (EX) = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or saw cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear

   VG+ = Very Good Plus
a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover

  VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feel-able marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)

SHIPPING PROCESSAND PACKAGING :
All records are packaged tight for safe shipping. Vinyl is shipped outside the original sleeve in a separate, often new sleeve. I custom package every record with plenty of padding.
45’s will be cardboard padded on both sides, then wrapped in bubble, then custom boxed. Every box is taped well and marked fragile, double taped at corners.
LP’s are cardboard padded, wrapped in bubble wrap, then corners are gusseted with custom made pads. The records ship outside their covers and sleeves to prevent damage. A custom box is then built around this padded ‘record sandwich’. The resulting box is then taped well, marked fragile and double taped at corners.
78’s are first packaged between two pieces of 11” cardboard, taped well, then bubble wrapped. Additional bubble wrap is then laid out with void fill laid down, then the record sandwich followed by more void fill. This eventually makes a 4 to 5” bubblewrap ‘pillow’ which is then custom boxed, taped well, marked fragile and then double taped at the corners.
