IPSISSIMUS - Hold On/Lazy Woman ORIG Parlophone 45 R 5774 (UK, 1969)
Happy and reluctant to present (from my own collection) the often comped heaviest version of ‘Hold On’ - Ipsissimus’s scorching ‘69 version, much rarer than either the Sharon Tandy or Rupert’s People 45s.
The vinyl on this most desirable single is really strong with NO scratches, hairlines or scuffs and just the most minimal of bagrash when viewed under harsh light. I have NO hesitation in grading this M- (Mint minus) both visually and aurally. It plays perfectly with NO ticks, clicks, snap, crackle or pop and shows no distortion or loss of clarity.
The ‘Sold In The UK’ labels are also in fine shape with no writing, stickers, tears or damage and showing just a handful of lazy spindle trails to the A only.
Seldom offered seminal heavy soul/psych 45, supplied in correct Co. sleeve. Don’t miss this!
