Why this copy is interesting (for collectors & listeners) This single sits in that sweet spot where Maiden history, vinyl culture, and collectability meet. It’s a notorious era piece — instantly recognisable artwork, a hard-hitting mix, and one of those releases people love to hunt down on 7".
What pushes this example into “talking point” territory is the etched / autographed Side Two (printed on the sleeve) and the visible handwritten messages around the disc area — exactly the kind of detail that makes collectors stop scrolling. Even for regular listeners, it’s a premium shelf item: bold sleeve, iconic band, and a 45 RPM cut that just feels right on a turntable. ✅ Quick facts Format: 7" Single • 45 RPM • Stereo Country: UK • Label: EMI • Cat#: EMS 171 Highlight: Side Two is etched / autographed (sleeve notes it) + disc has handwritten inscriptions Tracklist Side A 1) Bring Your Daughter… To The Slaughter — 4:42 Side B 2) I’m A Mover — 3:26
Special Edition: “Autographed etched disc” (as printed on sleeve) Condition (graded conservatively) Vinyl: VG+ (Very Good Plus) The record looks and plays almost like new with minimal signs of use:
— possible occasional light hairlines, usually only visible under angled light
— near-silent playback; brief low background noise may appear between tracks
— clicks are rare and unobtrusive, with no impact on the music
— no skips, excellent playability
— sound is clean, насыщенный (rich), detailed Sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus) The sleeve is in very good visual condition:
— minimal corner/edge wear
— light storage traces may be present
— seams intact, artwork bright
— presents very well on a collector’s shelf Collector notes (rarity & “why people chase it”) • Etched / autographed Side Two (explicitly mentioned on the sleeve) — a standout feature for Maiden collectors.
• Handwritten messages/signature-style markings on the disc (visible in photos) add strong display value and “conversation piece” appeal.
• UK EMI 1990 pressing with iconic Derek Riggs art — a core era collectible.
