IRON MAIDEN - RUNNING FREE - VERY RARE ONE SIDED DJ PROMO:
This is your chance to bid on this extremely rare Iron Maiden item.
Issued in 1981 on the EMI label in the UK this is a one-sided DJ promo used to promote the first single of these heavy metal legends.
This is one of the real collectors items in the Maiden catalogue & is highly sought after.
The record bears the catalogue number EMI 5219 (DJ) EMI 5219A-DJ.
The single has a picture label on the A side which also carries the large “A” oft seen on demos & promos. The B side has a plain turquoise coloured label.
The vinyl is in excellent condition - still bright & shiny. There is one noticeable mark on the vinyl which does cause a few clicks & there are a few pops & clicks elsewhere but this is to be expected from a record that is 28 years old. Having said that, these minor faults do not detract too much from this very rare item.
