Description
Up for bid is a RARE 7" UK 45rpm single EP with picture sleeve from "IRON MAIDEN". One of the bands first singles. I believe this cover with Margaret Thatcher was withdrawn or at least created controversy. Released on the "EMI" record label in 1980. Record contains "Santuary" b/w "Drifter" & "I've Got The Fire" both early live versions recorded at the Marquee Club in London April 1980. Vinyl is in EX NM condition, shiny clean, no visable scratches, marks or scuffs. Likely played only once or twice on my high end B&O turntable. Cover is also in EX NM condition, with only minor record label compression mark, not noticable unless angled up at a light. Otherwise clean, free of any creases, tears, marks or stickers. Survived very well considering its age. (Record is from my own personal collection, purchased at the time of release. Well taken care of and properly stored over the years.) ********** Records will be packed and shipped in professional heavy duty corrogated cardboard record mailers that I purchase to assure safe delivery during shipping.
