SIDE 2 DRIFTER/I'VE GOT THE FIRE (live at London's Marquee club april 3, 1980)
Front cover shows Margaret Thatcher (Prime Minister at the time) having just been stabbed by IRON MAIDEN's mascot Eddie for tearing down a concert poster from Iron Maiden........ Apparently most of these record covers were withcalled back to EMI because of the uproar made by the government at the time?,, some say it was done as a stunt by Iron Maiden as Margaret Thatcher's nick name was the IRON LADY so it would be good publicity for the new up and coming nwohm band......... They were told to re-issue the cover/single with her eyes blacked out and she also made the front cover of another single cover called "WOMEN IN UNIFORM" dressed as a soldier....
The cover is in very good condition for its age (28yrs old)
