After The Storm (feat Aston Barrett Jr)
Israel Vibration tap into myriad different reggae and dub styles here with their new ten-track album. It was produced by Aston Barrett Jr. of The Wailers alongside Israel, Rafael Costa and Henrique Pesqueira. It also features the final works of the late Cecil "Skelly" Spence, with Lacelle "Wiss" Bulgin the last surviving member of the original trio carrying on their legacy. The release introduces a new lineup of musicians which diverges from the usual Roots Radics collaborators but still makes an indelible mark. The vocal harmonies are pure bliss, the rhythms silky and life-giving and the vibes generally sunny and carefree.
