LUIS BACALOV - OSANNA "Milano calibro 9" - Fonit LPX 14 - 1979

After the release of their first LP (L'uomo) in 1971, Osanna were asked to provide the soundtrack to Fernando Di Leo's Italian crime movie Milano Calibro 9.

Working with Luis E. Bacalov, who composed three of the tracks and provided the orchestral arrangements for the whole soundtrack, Osanna performed and recorded the music live to the final cut of the movie in the Fonorama Studios . After recording the music for the movie, they then went to a recording studio in Milan and recorded the music again for the LP release which was titled Milano Calibro 9: Preludio, Tema, Variazioni e Canzona.

The whole album is superb for sampling and ideas for new productions
