Description

LT. TIM BRYMN AND HIS BLACK DEVIL ORCHESTRA were the OTHER big African-American band (besides Lt. Jim Europe's 'Hellfighters') to play for the French, and do combat duty in the trenches in WWI. Very popular after the war, they concertized to enthusiastic audiences in the states.  


Here is one of their early records, only the second release in the fabled OKeh 8000 "race" series, "IT'S RIGHT HERE FOR YOU (introducing: 'Crazy Blues')," and "ARKANSAS BLUES." 


This original 1921 "Race" series OKeh 8002 is in clean EE- condition.

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing!  My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value.  I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all.  If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will!  Shipping is done with expert care.
