Description

This mid 1959 release was an opportunity for Buddy Holly fans to buy his last 2 Crickets’ singles with their B sides on one convenient disc with the added bonus of a picture sleeve.  This was the 1st Crickets EP issued in the UK after Buddy’s tragic death and this 1st edition has a tri-centre rather than the later very common circular one.  So this record is comparatively rare and a much sought after item.

SLEEVE is an original as illustrated / RECORD is a fine example of a tri-centre with original sheen and excellent appearance on both playing surfaces with a very slight scuff on Track 2 on Side 1.  The sound and listening experience are first class i.e. no clicks or background noise. Buddy has never sounded better than he does on this 45-RPM Extended Play record, which is the original 1st edition/original UK 1959 pressing.
