'Igginbottom - 'Igginbottom's Wrench - Deram Stereo LP - SML 1051- Ex+
Impossible to find 1969 Stereo LP on the Deram Label, featuring the first recorded performance of jazz/rock guitar legend Allan Holdsworth.
Grading
Vinyl is in Ex+ condition and has hardly been played. Have played it through to grade and there is hardly any audible background noise despite there being some very quiet instrumental passages on this LP. On first sight the vinyl actually looks Nr Mint but under strong light there are some slight visible scuff marks from where the vinyl has been removed from the inner sleeve. These do not affect the audio quality of this LP and there are no skips, jumps or scratches.
Catalogue Nos. - This is the stereo version of this LP and has the catalogue number SML 1051. The label on Side 1 of the LP also has the reference ZAL9095P and the run out groove on Side 1 has the reference ZAL.9095.P - IW.
The label on Side 2 of the LP also has the reference ZAL9096P and the run out groove has the reference ZAL.9096.P - IW.
Labels are both in pristine condition with no spindle wear, no tears and no writing.
Front Cover is in excellent condition for an LP that is nearly 40 years old and is 'Laminated with Clarifoil made by British Celanese Limited'. There is very slight ringwear on the cover but this is hardly noticeable. There is no writing on the cover or any rips or tears.
Back Cover is also in excellent condition with no writing, rips or tears. At the top left hand corner of the cover there is a light brown stain measuring roughly 2 inches by 1 inch. This can be seen clearly from the photographs but does not detract from the overall quality of the LP. Slight signs of ringwear from storage but nothing drastic.
The back cover also has the regular Deram hole at the top right through which you can see the inner sleeve denoting whether the LP is a Mono or Stereo pressing. In this case it is a blue/stereo pressing. The inner sleeve is the original blue stereo version and is fully intact and in excellent condition.
Spine is in immaculate condition with no signs of wear, as are the top and bottom of the sleeve.
