Here is a great find; a really nice original USA pressing of  the rare  LP "The Private Sea Of Dreams" by the excellent avant-garde collective outfit Il Gruppo (known outside the USA as Gruppo d'Improvvisatione "Nuova Consananze"), released on the RCA label in 1967 and hard to find.  Vinyl is nice VG+ with a few light sleeve scuffs;  cover is also VG+ with very light surface wear, modeate edge wear (with a one-inch seam split at upper right) and a small corner cut at lower right. Original inner sleeve is intact and included.  A great and truly "far-out" LP that will appeal to fans of avant garde jazz, progressive experimentalism and Ennio Morricone obsessives (he plays in this group). Not an easy one to find (and excellent), so don't pass this up!

Much closer to free jazz than to progressive music, this ensemble from Rome is notable for the presence of well known film music composer Ennio Morricone(along with Roland Kayn,Franco Evangelisti,Egisto Macchi,Giancarlo Schiaffini and others). Their 1967 album was also issued in USA and Canada under the name Il Gruppo, while the 1970 album. The feed-back is often mentioned as an italian avantgarde classic, being similar sometimes to some german cosmic music albums.Great impro LP!Possibly their rockier(!) one!
