Description
SWING'S THE THING by Illinois Jacquet, released by Verve Records Clef Series (MGV-8023).
PLEASE MIND THE LABEL. This is clearly a reissue. I cannot determine a release date but it appears to have been produced circa late-60's. MGM RECORDS - A DIVISION OF METRO-GOLDWYN MAYER, INC is printed on the bottom rim of the labels. MGM did not absorb Verve Records until 1960. A later-run Verve dust sleeve is included. Those aside, the catalog number is listed as MGV-8023 on the jacket; V-8023 on the labels.
Grading is subject to YOUR eyes and ears, backed by my return policy (see below). Regardless of what anyone says, there is no OBJECTIVE standard for grading used records. I have complete CONFIDENCE in my assessment but I am more than happy to accomodate yours. Between us, you are the Record God.
I do not give out grades above vg+ for anything that has been removed from its original packaging.
