THE ALLEN SISTERS - "I'm in Love with a Boy from the FFA". Rare collectible 78rpm that is a one sided 10". This record is included with a letter from The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company. This package was sent out to Vocational Agriculture teachers after the Kansas City convention in October of 1951. According to the letter, Firestone would supply the entertainment for these FFA conventions, and due to the songs popularity, Firestone decided to have some records pressed to send out to High School agricultural teachers. The letter is dated May of 1952, as is the packaging. The letter is signed by Raymond C. Firestone. This record was sent to Stryker, Ohio.

Though the letter states the song is sung by The Allen Sisters, the record states The Allan Sisters. Words and Music by Douglas Craig. A cool collectible for any music fan. The letter is in VG++ condition as is the packaging. My 78player is not working, but the vinyl looks to grade a conservative VG+, still shiny, may even play better. The record is pressed on thinner vinyl then most typical 78's.

Here is a link with some info about the organization's history and the recording:
