Description
Released by Immediate in 1969,catalogue number AS 4, as a sampler for the album “Nice” (IMSP 026); this is a 7” single, played at 33prm. The track “She Belongs To Me” plays both sides.
The release date of the 5th September 1969 is printed on both labels. There is a factory sample label on the “A”-side.
This is a very rare sampler that is now absent from the Record Collector 2010 Guide. I seem to recall it was originally described as an LP-sized sampler – clearly it isn’t!
The track starts with a live spoken introduction with applause, then breaks into the full album track. It culminates with some more applause added for effect. The same track plays each side.
There is one, long spindle mark across the B-side label. The labels are otherwise unmarked. There is a small paper scuff on the leading edge of the B-side that has no effect on the playing condition of the record. The rest of the record is unmarked and grades as at least excellent; without the scuff the record is mint.
The record comes in the standard Immediate sleeve.
Postage and packing is FREE in the UK so long as the record does not exceed £36. After that, insurance is payable depending on the value. Overseas customers will pay £1.57 for European customers and £2.44 for USA and the Rest of the World customers. Again, insurance is payable if the value exceeds £36. Payment by Paypal is preferred, though traditional payments from UK customers are most welcome.
