Import Audiophile Pressing - Starker "Bach Complete Suites" - NR!
I am clearing out the Vinyl Audio Vault, and there is a whole lot in there! Up for auction is a copy of the Import Audiophile Pressing of Janos Starker "Johann Sebastian Bach - Complete Suites for Unaccompanied Cello" that I am selling with No Reserve. This was pressed in Holland on the Mercury Golden Imports label. A truly phenomenal recording! 3 disc set in foam lined box (though the foam is degraded with time and should be replaced). It is in Very Good condition, and is SUPER RARE!!! As seen in the photo, the outer edges of the box are scuffed, and some of the gold detail has worn away. The discs are still quite nice, with bass that will shock you, and playing that is out of this world. If you like cello, or even if you THINK you MIGHT LIKE cello, you should own this set. Out of this WORLD!
If you have never heard an import pressing of your favorite album, you are missing out big time! They are MUCH quieter than the standard domestic pressings, and have more detail, better soundstaging, and are MORE MUSICAL!
I am the original owner of all of my records. They were played on a Linn LP-12 with various high-end cartridges. Unless stated otherwise, all are in MINT shape, both the vinyl AND the cover and sleeve! They are all from a climate-controlled environment that is smoke-free and pet-free. Most have rice paper liners and come in plastic storage sleeves (which I have added) to protect the cover art. They are sold as I originally purchased them, which means if there were inserts, they are still there - nothing has been cut out, altered, etc. - the only thing missing is the cellophane shrinkwrap! If you have specific questions on a particular title, please ask and I will post the answer for all. Thanks for looking!

- All items securely packaged, most items shipped in a box. For International customers it may be placed between cardboard and wrapped to save on weight and shipping costs, but if you desire it boxed, please inform me prior to paying and I will recalculate the new amount.
- For the US I offer US Postal Service Media Mail for $6.95 or Priority Mail for $9.95. Each additional album is $2.00 if you wish to combine shipping. Insurance is $1.30 if desired.
- Canada is $10.95 via Air Mail or $16.95 via Global Priority Mail, with each additional item $3.00.
- All other countries are $12.95 via Surface, or $19.95 via Air Mail, with each additional item $4.00. Please be aware that if you combine shipping and the weight gets too high I may be unable to send a single shipment Air Mail, and I will contact you to offer shipping options, or you may specify what you desire.
