The saga of The Jesus Lizard begins in Texas. Vocalist David Yow and bassist David Wm. Sims were in the seminal Austin, Texas band Scratch Acid whose exploits are now legendary. Both moved to Chicago after Scratch Acid's demise where Sims played in Rapeman. Sims began playing with guitarist Duane Denison (Cargo Cult) and the two recruited Yow to do some singing... thus The Jesus Lizard was born. The Jesus Lizard helped create "alternative" rock, but kept it anchored to reality, refusing to be taken in by corporate marketing strategies.

Hello, you are bidding on an item that I purchased for my own use; not for resale. In many cases I am the original owner, or purchased used items which met my picky criteria for condition, appearance, and performance. All records are visually graded under a 100 watt bulb unless otherwise stated in description. I have simply run out of room and reasonable time to enjoy all this stuff, so my loss is your gain. Bid with confidence. I stand behind each and every item I list to be as described. International bidders: all duties and taxes levied by your country are your responsibility.
LPs are shipped in proper LP mailers that are reinforced with bubble wrap or cardboard.
Combined shipping rates:  USA: 2-5 records media mail $8  Canada: up to 5 records $20  Worldwide: 5 records $60
