Description

Bruce Licher - Independent Projects Box (#216/300) OOP RARE

Title: Selected Recordings From The Musical Career Of Bruce Licher, 1979-1985
Artist: Bruce Licher
Format: 2x10" Box Set
Label: Independent Projects
Catalogue #: IP024/025

Up for bid is a near-mint copy of Bruce Lichers' box set, Selected Recordings From The Musical Career Of Bruce Licher, released in an edition of 300 on the Independent Projects label in 1989, to coincide with his 10-year retrospective of Lichers's work as a designer and musician at the Hallway Gallery in LA. Not only is Bruce Licher an important figure in groups like Savage Republic, Africa Corps, Neef and Them Rhythm Ants (among others), but he is a reputable designer, and the collection of visual art in this boxset is certainly a holy grail for completists; overall an excellent design document from an equally excellent artist. The box set is in amazing condition, number 216 out of 300. The chipboard box itself is in excellent condition with no tears, rips or stains; everything inside is in equal if not better condition. The records are unplayed, only removed from their sleeves to take these photos. The packet of letterpressed tickets and ephemera from Lichers is still unopened. Everything is fully intact and numbered. Shipping is tentatively $7.00 stateside (give or take a dollar), and I can let you know what international costs would be. Don't pass up this opportunity!
