Description

Indian Summer - Indian Summer 1971 RCA Neon NE 3 LP Gatefold Plays EX Rare & Great Prog! Hand cleaned, play tested = EX. Actually plays closer to NM. There is some light crackling between tracks, run-in, but does not at all overpower the music once it starts. I'm reading that this in possibly inherent in all pressings because this vinyl looks super, duper clean. I have maybe 10 RCA Dynaflex albums in my collection and the all sound perfectly fine. The mix is great, but the mastering is a bit "dark", but the music is amazing! The guitarist, Colin Williams absolutely rips and shreds prog, jazz-rock lines throughout the whole album. Great singing by Bob Jackson as well. Hard to put my finger on who to compare them to...hmm...maybe Jethro Tull at times? I don't have the biggest Prog vocabulary, but this is great stuff! Album jacket has a very small notch cut at opening, but besides some light ring wear, looks near mint. Come with plain black inner which I think is original. * I believe this to be a 1st press, Indianapolis Pressing, Gatefold, Dynaflex pressing.
Album hand cleaned with Tergikleen (used by the Library of Congress), Distilled Water (again) and dried with an Anti Static Cloth. Will ship with album and sleeve outside of jacket and with a new outer protective sleeve. Please see all pics for condition. Item is Sold As-Is. PLEASE PAY PROMPTLY if you win this item. I really appreciate it. I'll be putting many more classic disco, reggae, dub, dance, funk, jazz, rock, r&b, oldies and Spanish Language LP's, 45's, 78's & CD's for sale. I will gladly make you a deal on any multiple items...just ask. Please check back to see updates. Thank you for looking! *As of January 2024, Shipping & Handling will go up from (generally) $4.99 to $5.99. I don't want to make a dime on shipping, but USPS shipping has gone up and the cost of shipping supplies have gone up as well. Thanks for your understanding.*78's shipping cost is now $6.99 & up. I pack them with a lot of extra packing material and a bigger box to keep them from getting damaged in shipping.
